Madrinas: historias de vaginismo (2019)

Vaginismus is the involuntary contraction of the vaginal muscles, which makes penetration impossible. It has long been considered a psychological issue with no specific treatment, but the protagonists of Madrinas challenge these theories with their stories of overcoming vaginismus through physiotherapy.

Diana, Iraida, and Jacqueline are beginning to shape an artistic project they hope to exhibit soon. Montse started organizing an association years ago. All of them want vaginismus to stop being invisible and silent, and to achieve that, they must name it and talk about it. Because, as they well know, what has no name does not exist.
